Experience & Assignments

For more than 30 years, I have worked in roles as CFO, project manager, ERP consultant and advisor within decision support, serving both private and public sector organisations. Assignments have been carried out both as an employee and as a consultant through Nordberg Consulting. Throughout my career, I have worked closely with executive management teams, boards of directors and operational organisations across multiple industries, with a strong focus on strengthening financial governance, decision-making support and business development.

Within the shipping and transport sector, I provide advisory services and implementation support for Business Intelligence solutions connected to Microsoft Business Central environments. The focus is on creating reporting and analytics that are actively used in daily operations and executive management processes.

I have led and participated in numerous implementation and transformation projects related to Microsoft Dynamics NAV and Business Central across industries including:

• manufacturing
• wholesale and retail
• public sector

Assignments have included analysis, solution design, gap-fit assessments, project management, training and operational business adaptation.

I have held several CFO and interim CFO assignments within manufacturing and other industries, where responsibilities have included:

• budgeting and forecasting processes
• reporting to executive management and boards
• business performance management and follow-up
• system development and digitalisation of financial processes

In these roles, I have frequently combined operational financial leadership with organisational transformation and system implementation projects.

Within the wholesale sector, I have led procurement transformation projects focusing on improving purchasing processes, structuring supplier collaboration and strengthening cost control.

For more than two decades, I have worked with Microsoft’s ERP platform in roles including:

• consultant
• project manager
• team leader
• CFO end-user

 

I have supported clients within energy, shipping, food industry, public sector and trade, focusing on aligning systems with real business needs.

Earlier in my career, I held CFO roles within the aviation industry and management responsibilities within the hotel and food sectors. These roles provided a strong understanding of how financial governance must function in operational reality.
